Starting in the Fall of 2025, we will be introducing the following group classes:
Ukulele

Strum into the wonderful world of ukulele! Students will learn basic chords, strumming patterns, and simple songs while developing rhythm, listening skills, and musical confidence. Students will learn popular tunes, classic favorites, and maybe even some songs they help choose. The supportive group environment encourages musical friendship and makes learning feel like play!

Pop Music Choir

Get ready to sing all your favorite hits in this exciting choir that's all about the music kids actually love! Students will perform current Top 40 songs, chart-toppers, and beloved pop anthems – including plenty of Taylor Swift, of course! This choir focuses on the songs kids are already humming along to. Students will develop vocal skills, learn harmonies, and experience the joy of singing together while performing music that speaks to them. Throughout the sessions, students will have opportunities to shine with mini solo moments – making this a perfect, supportive environment for shy performers to gradually build confidence and feel comfortable in the spotlight. Through group singing, we'll work on breath control, pitch, rhythm, and stage presence – all while having a blast with today's biggest hits.

Songwriting

Unleash your child's musical creativity in this fun and inspiring songwriting class! Students will learn to write their own original songs from start to finish, exploring melody, lyrics, rhythm, and song structure in an encouraging group setting. Through interactive games, collaborative exercises, and hands-on activities, young songwriters will discover how to turn their ideas and emotions into music. Students will leave each session with new tools for musical expression and the confidence to share their unique musical voice. By the end of the course, each student will have created several original songs to share with family and friends.

Introduction To Percussion/Rhythm Fundamentals

Discover the exciting world of rhythm and percussion in this hands-on class that gets kids moving and grooving! Students will work with a drum pad and drumsticks along with other percussive instruments to learn fundamental rhythm patterns and beat-keeping skills. Through fun musical games, group drumming circles, and interactive exercises, musicians will develop their sense of timing, coordination, and musical expression. We'll play along to popular songs, create rhythm compositions together, and learn how percussion drives the music we love.
