Instrument Recommendations

Not sure where to start with choosing an instrument? We've done the research for you. These are our top picks across various price ranges and experience levels

Keyboards/Electric Pianos

Full-length, full or semi-weighted keys, high quality, and will last the student for many years

  1.  Yamaha P71: This is our top recommendation.

  2. Yamaha P45B:

3.  Donner DEP-20:

4. Donner OURA S100:

5. Alesis Recital Pro:

61 Key Keyboards: space-saving, suitable for beginners

  1. Casio Casiotone CT-300

2. Artesia 61-Key Portable Digital Piano

Foldable keyboards: Not our top choice, but if you need to put the keyboard away in between practice sessions, this could be a good option:

  1.  61-Key

2. 88 Keys

Guitars

Both electric and acoustic guitars generally come in three sizes: half, three-quarter, and full-size. The right size largely depends on the age and height of the student, so it is important to try them out in person to find the right ‘fit’.

For beginners:

  1. Electric: Fender Squier Debut Series Stratocaster

2. Acoustic: Yamaha JR2TBS

For intermediate:

  1. Electric: Fender Player Stratocaster

2. Acoustic: Seagull Entourage Rustic Burst Grand

For advanced:

  1. Electric: Fender American Performer Stratocaster

2. Acoustic: Taylor 214ce Plus
